The pandemic ruined many people’s travel plans as the world shut down. I had to cancel several trips and was devastated about no longer being able to do what I love most for an indefinite period of time. However, it was a blessing in disguise. The pandemic pushed me to work on becoming a better version of myself, and that ended up benefitting future travels once the world opened back up.
In 2018, I participated in an unconventional study abroad program… I traveled mainly through Central Europe (Germany, Czechia, Austria, Croatia), and also took side trips to London, Amsterdam, Venice & Paris. While traveling was amazing, the group dynamics were less than ideal. Fortunately, I was able to turn some negative vibes into a positive & uplifting study abroad experience that would pave the way for future international travel!
